INOVA and GEOTECH Agreement Paves New Paths for Russia’s Seismic

INOVA Geophysical and GEOTECH signed an unprecedented agreement to join efforts and use both companies engineering, manufacturing, and assembly capabilities in the Russia market. GEOTECH is the largest seismic contractor in Russia and INOVA is an integrated land seismic technology supplier, which together provides this undertaking tremendous potential. This agreement will strengthen INOVA’s impact in the Russian market as well as GEOTECH’s position as a premier seismic contractor globally, while also creating new jobs in the seismic industry.

“We’re very excited by the potential on this agreement and pleased to be collaborating with a company that has such an experienced and knowledgeable staff," INOVA Geophysical’s CEO Carey Mogdan said. "There are already specific projects underway and several more in the pipeline. I know that this initiative will be very positive for both our companies.”

Vladimir Tolkachev, President of PJSC GEOTECH Seismic Services, and Jean Januard, INOVA Geophysical’s Vice President for Russia signed the agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 3rd. The partnership will open the door to leverage INOVA’s and GEOTECH’s advanced technologies for extremely cold climates as well as having the potential for significant developments in seismic sources and acquisition systems in many other different environments.
